Spring Break this year is from March 15 until March 22. We decided to take our children on our regular camping trip to Oak Mountain. Only, this year we have encountered a few problems.
Needless to say the campers hot water heater is blown. After two days without water, we have figured out that those pipes leading to the hot water heater can be shut off. And all of the sudden...we now have cold water! Oh it is so nice to not have to flush the toilet with a gallon of water. And to be able to wash dishes and hands in the camper...you would be amazed at all the trips to the bath house for handwashing we have had to make. (problem one)
Problem number two is that my good friend's mother in law is camping across the way from us. And her water isn't working. After several hours and attemps at correcting her leak...we finally gave up. (Now she is having to use the one gallons to flush her toilet...and the bath house for all other needs)
Problem number three. The mother in law is by herself and her children and grandchildren have taken off to go to the beach. On Monday her car wouldn't start. I went to help. Only to find her Expedition parked in her garage facing forward. It was a sight to be seen when I pushed that big suv out of the garage so that I could get to the battery. Again....things didn't go my way. My car isn't large enough to jump off her suv. I guess I should have thought of that. (Thanks to A to Z towing and their jump pack for getting her back on the road again.
We are going to hope that we don't run into problem number four. I am not sure how much more I can handle this week.
